Herbert Glass's 80th Birthday

Herbert Glass celebrated his 80th birthday on the 13th September 2019, although his actual birthday was on the 14th August. The party which was held at the Prince Philip Hall was delayed for the benefit of the Agulhas II visit to await the arrival of his grandchildren, Janice and Kimberley Green.
It was a lovely occasion for all to enjoy with food and refreshments, plenty of homemade cakes and savouries served throughout the evening. There was a dance afterwards which everyone enjoyed late into the evening.
Although Herbert is retired, he enjoys getting out and about. He was one of the Team that helped to build the Tristan Thatched House using traditional methods.
