MV Edinburgh departs for Cape Town

MV Edinburgh was not able to offload the remainder of its cargo until Sunday 29th May when work started at 9am and was completed by 5pm. Outgoing passengers went on board the ship at 5.45pm and she sailed for Cape Town at 6.45pm.
Passengers are: Islanders Ken & Judy Green, Gladys Lavarello, Martin & Iris Green, Adrian, Samantha & April Swain, Barney Swain and Norman Glass, plus Hubert Launay (CTBTO Station Manager).
