Edinburgh departs for Cape Town

MV Edinburgh departed for Cape Town at 4.45pm GMT on Tuesday 8th March. Outgoing passengers were: Islanders Dean Repetto, Lewis & Yvonne Glass, Connie & Sharon Glass, Neil Swain and Riaan Repetto; Ben Dilley, Brian Corboy and Charles Kilgour. MV Edinburgh returned from Gough Island on Saturday 27th February at 6.30pm and the Tristan party who went to Gough, including Administrator Alex Mitham and Chief Islander Ian Lavarello, came ashore. The ship was joined by Fisheries Officer Warren Glass as the vessel continues fishing. |
