MV Edinburgh departed Tristan for Gough Island the 15th February, while the MV Baltic Trader continues offloading at Tristan

MV Edinburgh departed Tristan for Gough Island fishing operations on Monday 15th February at 4pm GMT. Aboard was a Tristan party led by Administrator Alex Mitham and Chief Islander Ian Lavarello. They were accompanied by Fisheries Observer Terence Green, Rodney Green and Norman Glass, who will be diving to retrieve and replace temperature loggers on the sea bed, RIB crew Joseph Green and Jason Green and Head of Tristan Conservation Department Trevor Glass, with his colleagues George Swain & Ben Dilley.

The Baltic Trader remains at Tristan. All the harbour project equipment has been offloaded but fish from the Tristan factory will be loaded and passengers will board ready for an imminent departure for Cape Town.
