Departure from Tristan

The following passengers went on board the MFV Edinburgh about 10am on Tuesday 6th January 2026 but she departed at 2pm on Thursday 8th January due to the neeed for fuel to be pumped ashore:

Islanders: Glenda & Holly Rogers, Ronald Rogers, Roy Rogers. Non-islanders: Philip & Louise Kendall (Administrator & wife); Fouche Conradie, Anouschka, Rishka & Charles Hahn (Ovenstone Technical Manager and family); Virginia Golding (Nurse).

Arrival at Tristan

The MFV Edinburgh arrived at Tristan at midnight on the morning of Tuesday 11th November 2025, but with sea conditions being rather bumpy, passengers were not able to until until Thursday 13th, when they were brought ashore at 2:30pm.

Passengers were: Bradley Meyer (RSPB), Rebecca Nicholls (Marine Conservation Student) & partner Robert Kelly, and Barry Thacker (Policeman)

Departure from Cape Town

The MFV Edinburgh departed Cape Town shortly after 6:00pm on the Tuesday 4th November 2025.
