MFV Edinburgh's September-November 2021 Fishing Voyage

Departure from Tristan

The MFV Edinburgh anchored offshore late evening in the 4th November 2021, ready to backload Tristan Rock Lobster on the weekend before departing to Cape Town just after 3:00pm on Saturday 6th November 2021.

The only passengers were: Christopher & Rosalie Moncaster. The Edinburgh is scheduled to return from Cape Town again on 19th November so it will be a quick turnaround.

Arrival at Tristan

The MFV Edinburgh arrived on Tuesday 21st September 2021 and she anchored in the lee of the island. Due to sea conditions she was only able to offload cargo on Saturday 25th September and the offloading was completed about 4.30pm the same day. The Fisheries team boarded on Sunday morning and she left to do transits.

The ship carried no passengers this time, but brought the supplies that it was unable to deliver during its unfortunate July voyage, and which resulted is some shortages.

Departure from Cape Town

The MFV Edinburgh departed Cape Town on the afternoon of Tuesday 14th September 2021, on its first fishing voyage of the 2021/22 fishing season.
