Departure from Tristan
MFV Edinburgh departed Tristan at 7.40pm on Friday 27th September 2019. Passengers are Simon Butters and Elvis Jonas who therefore spent a week ashore.
Arrival at Tristan
The MFV Edinburgh arrived from Cape Town late evening on Friday 20th September 2019. Passengers came ashore the following morning when offloading commenced, continuing until at about 5pm when the ship went to the lee of the island. No offloading on Sunday 22nd or Monday 23rd due to poor sea conditions. On Wednesday 25th September offloading resumed and the Geo Searcher returhned to Tristan to back-load fish onto the Edinburgh for export to Cape Town.

Departure from Cape Town
MFV Edinburgh departed from Cape Town late in the afternoon of Friday 13th September. On board were just three passengers: Simon Butters (IT Engineer), Elvis Jonas (CTBTO Field Engineer) and Dawid Visagie (Contractor).
