The Gulden Leeuw arrived Saturday evening 28th January 2017 around 10:00pm, and anchored offshore for Saturday evening and Sunday. On Monday morning crew, 7 faculty and 34 students came ashore for the day. Visitors explored the village, visited the school, played golf, had a guided tour to the Potato Patches, trekked to the summit of the 1961 volcano, shopped at the Island Store and 37 Degrees South Gift Shop, posted mail and enjoyed food and refreshments at Café da Cunha. The Gulden Leeuw departed midday Tuesday 31st January after four days of good weather at Tristan.
