St Mary's School held an Open Day on Friday 1st July, which was also the day the school broke up for the half-term holiday.

The day began with assembly at 9am, which was well attended as always, and Class 5 read their poems on the theme 'Love is
....' and Leo also read the closing prayer. Acting Administrator Ann Biddle said a few words at the end.

After assembly parents, other family and friends went to look around the classrooms at the children's work and speak with the teachers.
