To be held in the Hamble Suite on the ground floor of the Holiday Inn.

10:30 - Morning parallel activities

14:00 - Afternoon session

- Talk on Project Pinnamin, by Antje Steinfurth (right)

c.16:00 - Raffle draw, and charity auction in aid of the Tristan Education Trust Fund
19.30 for 20.00 - Evening Dinner Dance - Meet in the Hamble Suite Bar
- Two course buffet-style dinner
- Traditional Tristan dances to live authentic music from Peter Millington and Mike Faulds
- Followed by Disco dancing until 23:30
Film Show Programme
10:15 - 1970 Visit to Tristan da Cunha, by William Mayo
50 min, Colour with sound - American home movie. The first half includes shots of Allan Crawford's family in Rosebank, Cape Town and of South Georgia.
11:05 - Tristan on 'BBC Breakfast', 10th November 2017
4 min - The visit by Rhyanna Swain, Jade Repetto and Janice Green to London and the British Library on the 200th anniversary of the Tristan's first 'constitution'.
11:10 - 'The Tragedy of Tristan da Cunha'
10 min, B/W with sound - A report on the 1961 volcano and evacuation, and life before, filmed by Charles Frater, who sadly passed away last year.
11:20 - Miscellaneous home footage shot by the Wheelers
9 min, Silent colour [with video counter] - Shots of the 1961 eruption, evacuation and earlier island life - some also used in the previous film.
11:30 - 'Survival: The Loneliest Place in the World', 1968
25 min, Colour with sound - An episode from the Anglia TV wildlife documentary series, filmed by George Edwards, written by Colin Willock, and narrated by Duncan Carse.
11:55 - Tristan on 'BBC Breakfast', 10th November 2017 - 4 min, Repeat of the earlier showing.
Tickets
£30 per person for the day * (including two course buffet lunch, coffee, tea and refreshments).
* There are special rates for Tristan islanders, to encourage attendance. See the order form for details.
£25 for the Dinner Dance (or £5 for the dance only).

Passes will be available for collection at our reception desk, and unless requested no receipts are issued.

If required, overnight accommodation must be booked separately. For guests choosing to stay at the Holiday Inn, there is a special package price for advance bookings (see below).
People arriving on Friday will be meeting up in the Holiday Inn restaurant for dinner and drinks.
