Conservation Definitives
Issued 1st November 2010 |
This important new set of Definitives issued by the Tristan da Cunha Post Office
replace the Birds Definitives issued on 1st June 2005.
The stamps highlight recent conservation work carried out on the Tristan da Cunha islands.
The First Day Cover envelopes feature a Northern Rockhopper Penguin and the logos of the RSPB and OTEP who are the major partners in working with the Tristan Conservation Department to monitor the islands' precious fauna and flora, also working to eradicate alien species that may threaten endemic wildlife. |
