About tristandc.com website
The joint Tristan Association - Tristan da Cunha Government partnership
has been presenting information and news of Tristan da Cunha since March 2005
and website traffic continues to rise every year.
We aim to be a one-stop source of accurate information and news on
the world's most isolated community
We are working on a site review and re-design.
This process is a joint exercise between Tristan Association committee members based in the UK, led by Peter Millington
who is now the Webmaster, and colleagues on Tristan led by Head of the Post Office Iris Green and Tourism Co-ordinator Dawn Repetto.
We hope the new-look site will be ready soon.
|We welcome enquiries for advertising only from bona fide island partners
who have existing links with the island so we do not compromise the site's integrity.

The Tristan da Cunha Website was launched on 14th March 2005 and will develop into a comprehensive guide to the islands and an on-line shop. It is managed by the Tristan da Cunha Association of behalf of the island community. Our aim is to present the unique Tristan da Cunha Islands to a worldwide audience in an accessible and attractive format, whilst also providing 21st Century commercial marketing to a community remote from normal trading opportunities.
We do not pay contributors, and any funds raised are for the benefit of the Tristan Community, not individuals. Contributions from visitors, islanders at home and abroad, and others interested in this unique community are always welcome, especially those who can contribute photographs free of copyright .
|Copying and Publishing
The website is not printer-friendly (except for Order Forms) as it is set deliberately on a coloured background with relatively large font style and with the aim of making it easy to view and read. A selected portfolio of high quality images is available to publishers - enquiries to the Website Editor email@example.com for details.
