MV Edinburgh July Arrival Update from Cynthia Green
MV Edinburgh departed Cape Town on Sunday 10th July 2016 after a delay as the ship was being serviced in dry dock. Aboard are islanders Stella and Ronald Rogers and Mechanic Sam Tatton and Ovenstone Engineers ouchie Conradie & Prince Muzuva. The ship arrived at Tristan at 17.20 on Sunday 17th July. The harbour was a bit rough, but passengers and their luggage were brought ashore safely shortly afterwards. MV Edinburgh went to the lee of Inaccessible Island and was waiting for calm seas to offload the cargo at noon on Monday 18th July.
