MV Pacific Askari has left Cape Town for Tristan with the Galliford Try construction team.

On 20th October 2016, the offshore supply ship MV Pacific Askari left Cape Town with the Galliford Try construction team aboard, who will be building the new Camogli Healthcare Centre. The vessel is expected to arrive at Tristan on 27th or 28th October to prepare for the arrival of MV Glory now expected on 2nd November.

MV Pacific Askari was built in 2006, is 73.4 metres long, a beam of 16m and is 2218 gross tonnes. The vessel sails under the Singapore flag and is operated by Swire Pacific Offshore.
