Andrew Wells sworn in as new Tristan Administrator
In traditional manner, Andrew Wells was sworn-in as Tristan da Cunha Administrator on Thursday 15th October in a short ceremony with the outgoing Administrator Philip Kendall.

Andrew arrived aboard SA Agulhas II on 30th September 2026 and so has been able to have an extended hand-over period. Philip Kendall and his wife Louise departed aboard SA Agulhas II on 18th October, completing their three-year term on Tristan which began when they first arrived in September 2023.
