On Sunday 12th March 2018, we celebrated Queen's Day, which this year coincided with Commonwealth Day, so the Commonwealth flag was flown with Tristan's flag. The day began a bit dull, but by midday the sun was shining.

	The Day's Programme 06.30 Fishing Competition for adults and children age 5-16yrs 09.30-11.00 Competition exhibits/entries assembled at St Mary's School:   Traditional Tristan Snizlens Best Chocolate Cake Knitted Garments Competition Art Competition Vegetables/pot plants/wild flowers 12.00 Judging took place 1.00pm Events held at St. Mary's School and American Fence:   Throw the welly (men and women) Target Golf Competition Coin in the Bucket (Children only) Soak the Officials Wheel barrow race and Chilli Competition Race in the American Fence (men & women) Design and build your own Rocket, ages 5-55yrs Dart Competition Face Painting for Children Accuracy Casting Variety of Children's activities - St Mary's School Football Rounder's 5.00pm Administrator and Mrs Burns held a reception, raffle, children's lucky dip and presentation of prizes at the Residency.
