The roof of the centre has been replaced, having previously been patched following damage by the 2019 storms.

New Roof for the Post Office and Tourism Centre

Report and photos from Randal Repetto

On Friday 12th March 2021, all of the Departments' workforce came together to re-roof the Post Office and Tourism Centre. They started early. Firstly the old roofing had to be removed, and then the new roofing had to be placed and secured. It was a lovely sunny day, and with the men working extremely hard, the work was completed about 1:00pm. Afterwards the men enjoyed their refreshments and relaxed after a hard day's work.
