Chief Operating Officer Michael Bertram was sworn in as Acting Tristan da Cunha Administrator at a ceremony conducted by Chief Islander James Glass in the Council Chamber on 2nd April 2024.
This follows the departure of Administrator Philip Kendall and his wife Louise aboard the cruise ship MS Seaventure on 30th March. Philip and Louise will be visiting St Helena and the UK, before returning to Tristan in June.
