A Westminster meeting on 2nd November 2022 brought an opportunity to brief the new chair of the UK’s influential Foreign Affairs Committee on Tristan da Cunha. The committee headed by Alicia Kearns MP monitors the work of the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, which deals with Overseas Territories and appoints the Tristan Administrator. She showed a keen interest in the relationship between the OTs and the UK, and offered to help spread knowledge about Territories among fellow MPs |
