The best way to support the remote community of Tristan da Cunha is to join the UK-based Tristan Association. As a member you will receive regular full-colour newsletters, have an opportunity to attend the residential Annual Gathering, and have special offers on a range of products. As a member you will be part of an international group of Islanders, people who have worked on and visited Tristan, and a growing group of Tristan friends who support the small community isolated in the South Atlantic Ocean.

500th Anniversary Commemorative Publication

A special commemorative book published by the Tristan da Cunha Association in November 2006 to celebrate the Quincentenary of the island's discovery in 1506.

The publication was written and compiled by the Tristan da Cunha Newsletter Editor Richard Grundy.

It contains 32 full colour A4 pages with a thin card cover,and provides a well illustrated summary of Tristan's 500 year human history, a profile of the island community in 2006, and key articles on 'Achievements and Aspirations' from The Chief Islander, Anne Green, the Resident Administrator Mike Hentley and Tristan Association Chairman Michael Swales.

The publication is now sold out in UK, but can be ordered direct from Tristan da Cunha for £7 including Post and Packing. It is advertised on the Souvenirs Page.

How to order

Tristan Association products can be ordered by printing and completing the Order Form and sending it with paymemt to the Secretary. You may pay by bank transfer (preferred), or cheque. The address and payment details are given on the Order Form.
