On 18th March the new Ovenstones vessel MV Geo-Searcher is scheduled to leave Cape Town for her inaugural Tristan voyage, taking over from MV Edinburgh as the principal fishing vessel. Nevertheless the reliable Edinburgh will continue Tristan passages, carrying passengers and frieight to the islands, and being available to fish if needed. Therefore the vessel is unlikley to be seen off the outer islands of Gough, Nightingale and Inaccessible except when needed as a auxillary fishing vessel.
