On Sunday the 19th March a service was held for Harvest Festival in St Joseph's Catholic Church. The service was conducted by Eucharistic Minister Mr Dereck Rogers. The parishioners brought the best from their harvest, and this year there has been an excellent crop for potatoes. Usually both Harvest Festival and Mothering Sunday were held on the same Sunday, but given the importance of both events it has been decided to hold the services on separate Sundays going forward.

On Sunday the 26th March, Mothering Sunday was celebrated in St Joseph Catholic Church. The service was conducted by Eucharistic Minister Mrs Anne Green. The children had made cards for their parents and bunches of flowers were given to all Mothers, Grandmothers and all other women who attended the service.
