Love Socks centre stage at FOTBOT Christmas Dinner

On Thursday 1st December a pair of Tristan 'Love Socks' were centre-stage at the first Christmas dinner held by the Friends of the British Overseas Territories (FOTBOT) group. UK Representative Chris Carnegy was a guest at the event, held at the Army and Navy Club in London, where the gents' socks knitted by Margaret Repetto helped the group raise cash via a prize draw. The evening featured talks by MPs James Cleverly and Andrew Rosindell, and by the naturalist Stuart Macpherson who showed pictures from his visit to Tristan. |
